Raanta

Netminder Antti Raanta of the Denver Spurs started the regular season in getting shellacked by America West Division rival Las Vegas 6-2 in 'Vegas.
He looked shaky in the loss and Coach Poelker was wondering if he did the right thing in naming Raanta his starting goaltender.
Well, Antti responded in the next TWO games with back to back shutouts!
He blanked the LA Devils, another America West Division rival, 4-0 in the Spurs' home opener and followed that up two nights later in a whitewashing of the visiting Quebec City Revolution of the Canada East Division 3-0. Quite the bounce back performances by Raanta! Next up for Raanta and the Spurs is a trip to Detroit for a game vs. the Mustangs of the America East Division.
