Night & Day

Denver (AP)

Netminder Antti Raanta has shown how goaltending can be as different as night and day. After his consecutive shutouts of LA and Quebec about two weeks ago he has allowed an approximate average of 4.4 goals per game in the next five games resulting in 4 losses and one tie. This has seen the Spurs drop to the bottom of the America West Division of the American Conference.
In those 5 games the Spurs' offense has been a popgun in only managing the light the lamp an average of 3 times per game.
Next up on October 22 the Tampa Bay Raiders visit the Mile High City and the Denver Coliseum the home ice of the Spurs.
Freddy Andersen will be in the crease for the Spurs in this tilt.
Hopefully he can right the ship.
