Last night T.J. Oshie of the Denver Spurs was put on the 10 day DL with a hyper extended knee after a cheap shot by one of the 'cats. So far no one is owning up to it on the 'cats.
Kyle Clifford, the Spurs resident tough guy, said they better watch out. We won't put up with our top talent guys getting run. I'll be going after them 'cats the next game. Not that T.J. can't take care of himself, but we need him using his hands to light the lamp, not fighting. If I don't take care of business then McQ or a couple of other teammates will. We have several guys capable of throwin 'em.Clifford did square off with Ferland of the 'Cats in the 3rd period prior to Oshie's injury. It was scored a draw. A tilt in the 1st between Burrows of the 'cats and MacKenzie of the Spurs also resulted in a draw with each combatant landing several blows.
Look like there's going to be some stormy times in Chicago and Denver this season when these clubs meet up.
