London (CP) - After practice today Donald S. Cherry was asked about the comments by Robert Dumont in a recent press conference. Cherry denied knowing anything about any comments, and the clip was played for him, and Grapes made the following comments. "Dumont knows less about hockey than my grandkids, and one of them is still in diapers. He is a joke to this league and to hockey in general. Everytime we get a new rule in the league, its because of something Dumont has done. How many teams has he been with in how many cities? Too many to count. How many games has his teams won? Too few to worry about. He isn't worth the sweat in my hockey gloves. I will say this though, he is a disgraceful Canadian. My family has a tremendous history in the military, and he wants to joke about it. He is nothing but a coward, who hides behind the press. If he has something to say then say it to my face. He never would because he is a gutless coward.
