Toronto added potential franchise center Derrick Brassard this season and he came away with an empty net tally to give him three goals on the year. We need to add scoring on our top two lines, but with three 1st round draft choices, we like our position."
The rebuild has seen Toronto reduce there payroll by nearly $15 million dollars while also adding two additional first round draft choices for next years entry draft for a total of three first round picks. Toronto takes on the Saskatoon Bears in there next tilt with rumors persisting that Toronto may deal the number one pick they acquired in the David Krejci deal from Saskatoon if the right mix is involved.
