Werewolves Ownership Holds Nose

London (CP) - In what would call the sign of the apocolypse the Werewolves of London have made a deal today with the New England Sharks. The Werewolves traded back up goalie Manny Legace to the Sharks for young up and coming goaltender Craig Anderson and defensive specialist centre Sammy Pahlsson.

When asked about making the deal owner Mark Wendling made the following comments. "I feel dirty. Its as if I have made a deal with the devil. Every time we (New England Owner Robert Dumont) spoke on the phone I had to keep a barf bucket beside my desk. That being said we got the deal done, and we believe it will help our team."

The Werewolves have been surprising everyone again this season as they do not have star power as is seen by other teams. "We have four lines that work very hard, and all lines can score. We have defensemen who can move the puck, but we were a bit concerned with our goaltending. Both Manny and Ozzy have been okay, but for us to win the cup we needed better than okay, and we believe that Craig can be our goalie for the next three years whereas Manny and Ozzy are reaching the end of their careers."

With Sammy we hope he can cut down on the number of powerplay goals we are giving up, and give us that guy who can win faceoffs when we need to.

When Wendling was asked if he and Dumont would be talking again any time soon. Wendling replied,"Not bloody likely"

It appears that despite a deal being made, there is no love lost between the two teams.
