Kostitsyn Brothers Re-united in Las Vegas

Last season Sergei Kostitsyn didn't figure into the plans for the Las Vegas franchise and was shipped to Vancouver for a 3rd round pick.  His development wasn't coming along as most scouts predicted as he was perennially inconsistent.   His response was a 23 goal 50 point season in what appeared to be a career year.

Finally, ... he arrived.

..or has he...?

The jury is still out on the youngster, but GM Bobby Brooks was willing to take another chance on him.  The Hitmen returned VAN's 2nd round pick to the Jackals that they received for John-Michael Liles--along with a 3rd in 2013.  Coming back to Las Vegas is Kostitsyn and VAN's 4th rounder in 2012.

The price went up a bit to re-aquire him, but in return Las Vegas will get an added scoring boost and some assurance that he can produce as this level.  The word out of Nevada is that he will be paired with his brother Andrei in his first game.
