London (CP) - The Werewolves of London are getting exactly what they thought they would with the acquisition of goaltender Craig Anderson. Anderson's numbers are mind boggling since joining the Werewolves. He has started in 12 games, but found himself out of two of them with nagging minor injuries. In these 12 games the team has gone 9-2-1 which happens to be a winning percentage of .792. Anderson has a save percentage of .943, a Goals Against Average of 1.88 and 3.5 shutouts.
Owner and GM Mark Wendling said the following. "We are getting exactly what we thought we were getting, Craig has not disappointed at all. Our team does not score a ton of goals, as you know we dont have anyone near the top scorers of the league, but what we do get is balanced scoring from our top three lines. I suspect we will have 9 or 10 guys with 20 goals this year. Craig is young enough to be with us for a couple more years, and when we would be thinking of rebuilding we may end up just reloading. Our club is the second winningest franchise in the Hobey. Only New York has a better winning percentage in their history, and they did not have the pains of being an expansion franchise on their own. Our fans are appreciative of it, and we thank them as we could not do it without them."
